Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to register and manage your domains — and we keep your details off the public record with free WHOIS privacy.
Information we collect
To provide our services we collect the information you give us: your account email and password, the registrant contact details required to register a domain (name, address, email and phone), and payment information processed securely by our payment providers. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep the service secure and working.
WHOIS and registrant data
Registering a domain requires us to share registrant contact details with the registrar and the registry, as ICANN rules require. When you use our free WHOIS privacy on an eligible domain, your personal details are replaced with privacy-service contact information in the public WHOIS record, keeping your name, address, email and phone off public view.
How we use your information
We use your information to register and manage your domains, process payments, provide DNS and support, send service and expiry notifications, and comply with our legal and ICANN obligations. We retain it only as long as needed for these purposes or as the law requires.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to provide the service — with our upstream registrar and the relevant registry, our payment processors, and DNS infrastructure providers — or when required by law. Our website may link to third-party sites whose privacy practices we don't control.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your account information, and request deletion of your account, at any time. Note that accurate registrant contact data is required by ICANN while a domain is registered, and some records must be retained to meet legal obligations. Contact us to exercise your rights.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit — to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No system is perfectly secure, so we also encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to protect your transfer authorization codes.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language and cart, and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of ns6 after a change means you accept the updated policy. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, please contact us.
